Jericho Road donorIn this time of COVID-19 with all its tragedy and suffering, the best has been brought out of our community with people helping each other. Although I struggled with poverty during my childhood, | have been touched by God’s grace in my adulthood. In the Bible it says, “For to whom much is given, much is expected.” I believe in paying it forward. Jericho Road is a blessing in our community with its loving staff who heal the hearts, bodies, and souls of their patients. In turn, it is my blessing to be able to donate.

Jericho Road donorIn the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus said to clothe the naked, shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, and give drink to the thirsty. We are blessed to have Vive, a place that shelters the asylum seeker, in our midst. I’m grateful that Jericho Road “rescued” Vive some years ago. Jesus also said to love God and love your neighbor, and, as he said to the rich young ruler, you can switch the order. It is a blessing to have had Vive here every day for so long. This is why I give to Jericho Road and to Vive, specifically.

Owner of Sunnißlu Health & WellnessSunniBlu Health & Wellness has worked closely with Jericho Road for over a year. The infectious spirit of love, support, and community has been nothing short of a blessing. We wanted to show our gratitude by donating cookies to the summer reading event. This way children would have a familiar but healthy snack to enjoy while listening to a story. We would like to thank Jericho Road for leading by example in what it means to be a charitable organization.
